My name rhymes with "Lisa,"
I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm
and the mortgage is cheap,
and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course!
The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years.
I have the best job in the world
because I get to call up artists
and ask them nosy questions
and then write about them.
I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.
You’ve heard of Someguy, who did the 1000 Journals Project, right? This is a DVD about that guy and the project. We watched it once—it’s kind of a lot of drama for my taste, but if you’re fascinated by the project, you’ll love this. It’s even got Tracy Moore in it—that was fun to see someone we know. Post a comment. Check back Friday. You know the drill.
Can you elaborate, maybe just to the groups, what you mean by 'drama'? But I'm still really curious about this process, so here's my name! Thanks, Rice.
Wow....this is the first time to your website! Had no idea such a wild creative spirit lived here in Texas! Glad to meet you, and yes, toss my name into the hat.
I was at AF when they were filming and I have yet to see the film. I don't know if the small part where I was being filmed ended up on the cuttingroom floor or not.
I live in Canada and this film hasn't turned up yet. It would be so great to win a copy so I could finally see it and share it with my friends. Please include me in the draw!
Ricë, please add my name to your selection list for this DVD. I would love to see it (which I haven't), and then I would pass it on to the "By Design" program at MCBA, which is the teen program. I think any and all inspiration they can get to see that there are lots of different voices out there creating visual journals is great.
Please, please double please, I would love to see this DVD.... if I win, I would even watch it once and pass it along to someone next in line! Kind of like a Voodoo Library system. leslie c
I'm in one of those journal things right now. It's going around the world somewhere. I'm looking forward to getting and working in it. This could be very inspiring for me. Besides, at this time in my life, everything is good. I'm happy, content, serene, etc. I need some drama. Please put my name in the hat. Laura
I am always up for a bit of drama! Discovered you in a magazine; checked out the yahoo site; joined; got notice of this thus discovering this particular blog and OMG OMG. You go girl. In any event I'm tossin' my name in here. Looking forward to reading your blog(s). Namaste. Norma
I would LOVE to have this DVD. I've been following the project for a long time and have been to the project's web site many, many times just to see new photos of journal pages. If you end up picking me you'll be assured the dvd will be very much appreciated!
Everyone else has a really good reason to want this DVD. I just want it because I want a reason to look forward to the hours between 3am and 6:30am, when TwoBoo wakes up for the first feeding of the day.
That, and having a DVD that I don't have to turn off if The Boy happens to walk in on it.

I know I have won before...but this dvd sounds right up my alley, so please add my name to the list of the greedy!
You do realize, of course, that all of your generous give-aways are not helping get those postage costs under control, right?! :P
DVD sounds interesting! Curious to see the "drama"...
I really like the idea of the project and it would be interesting to see and hear the process.Thanx Rice really enjoy your site..

Oooh I would love this video.
I think it would be very inspiring, despite the drama!
I've seen the book, but only heard about the video and would love to see it.
Would love to be added to the drawing. LOVE the book... would LOVE to see the DVD!
Thank you!

Hi,
Please add my name to the hat. I've been meaning to check this movie out. As someone else mentioned, I'll pass it along after seeing as well.
Cheryl
I would love to win this. I am trying to expand in my journaling and find it very challenging. I would love to see what these people did.

I'll play...and pass it along as well after viewing! (not much on watching things more than once, usually)
throw my name in the hat please!
