My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

My Etsy Shop

I finally got my butt in gear and got something in my Etsy shop. I hadn’t realized until lately that it was completely bare. And then someone contacted me and asked to buy some of the handmade journals, and that was just what I needed to force me to do something about it.
So I re-activated the things I’d let lapse—they were in a show in Virginia, and so I’d let them go. The ones that came home are in the shop now, along with a couple new things and some journals.
As soon as I get some photos taken, I’m going to add two of the newest pieces, ones I didn’t think I’d ever offer, because there was so much work involved. But I’d kind of like to see what happens with something that’s larger and more expensive and way more involved. I’d hoped to get The EGE to take photos this weekend, but:  where in the hell does the time go? Huh? I’m serious:  it flies by at such an alarming speed that all you hear is a whishing sound as it passes.

Dear Rice(I'm sorry, I can't do the correct 'e' on the IPod!),
Check your e-mail sweetie! I just bought three pieces of your etsy art (the middle age dress, the art beginning dress & a cutie pie shirt). It ate up my art budget for a while, but it is totally worth it!! Woo-Hoo!!!
Love from the Minx!
