Here’s a totally self-indulgent post for you: I’m wondering if my choice of a New Little Camera is so very obvious that anyone who knows me at all would be able to spot it and go, “Yeah, that would be the one.”
I used y’all’s recommendations and those of the Camera Guy at Best Buy. But then I ordered it from amazon.com. It’s small, digital, a point-and-shoot with no fanciness to it. Under $200.
And perfect for me!

because it's ORANGE!
I KNEW it had to be ORANGE and that one was the best of the oranges!
I didn't even look, nor did I have any idea of the parameters, but in my head as I was reading, I thought "I am sure it's orange. No, maybe bright pink. No, it's probably orange."
