My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Thank You for Coming By! & A Little Treat for a Sunday~~

So to offset my grouchiness (see previous post) and to say Thank You to those of you who show up regularly, I’m going to give this

markers

away to someone who comes by today. I bought an extra set of these last year and have never used them. I found them, still in the original package, this week. I tested a couple of them, and they seem still like brand new, but I’m guessing they’ll dry up before I need them:  the original set is still doing great, as  they seem to have a lot of ink. These are pretty much just like Sharpies, as far as I can tell, just with cooler-looking barrels. So if you’d like to have this set to play with, let me know. I’ll pick someone this evening, if there are several people who are interested. A little treat for a Sunday. . . .

Please add me to the wish list! I spend all day at my job dealing with deadly dull figures and facts...my creative outlet is using vibrantly colored pens and pencils and markers every chance I get. These would really brighten up my paperwork (and other artistic endeavors too)!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh...shamelessly, ok maybe a little shame at stooping to begging - but, ME TOO!!! ME TOO!!!! (bounces up and down waving both arms in the air between keystrokes) When I first ventured into Wreck This Journal and subsequently into 'art journaling' the last couple months I thought colored pencils were 'good enough' and I only have 2 fine tip Flair-type 'markers' - a turquoise-y blue and a magenta. (went looking for watercolor crayons a couple weeks ago but found none :( )

Interesting your Apple adventures. I am just considering buying a new computer myself.

I would love to be in the draw I only have a black and red sharpie a whole set would be awesome!

Cheers

Oh man, I was just looking at my pathetic collection of markers and discovered some pretty dried out pens. Your set is so beautiful and I would really put them to good use. More color needed for the upcoming Depressing Gray Winter that is Seattle. Please send to me...I'm groveling and desperate!

Ohhh! Beautiful! With these I could make even more of the fabulous journal quilts I learned to do in Susan Shie's class! They're such fun!
