~~Drum roll~~
OK, there are seven of these babies. Since they’re so small and so light, I said I’d ship internationally, for a change, so I picked one each from Canada, Australia, and England:
Denise (Canada)
Caity (Australia)
Suella (England)
Then, also:
Amy in Austin
Sheila
Pam McKnight
Jean Maneke (y’all remember Jean: she’s the copyright attorney who helped with the book contract, and we ♥ her very much!)
Y’all send your addresses, please, and I’ll get these ready to send out today, I hope.
Note: The EGE’s been wearing his, and I realize that the pin backs might need to be larger. These were what I had, but if you won one and want to take off the pin back and add a larger one, you can.
Then, to Kay, who says she never wins anything and says she needs to learn to sew, I have one of these that’s a little larger (31/2” x 31/2” or so) and not made into a pin: it’s just the image sewn onto a backing and then turned. It’s ready for stuffing and/or embellishment or simply stitching onto something—the hard part is already done. So, Kay: you win something, and you get a free Kick In the Butt for Sewing. How’s that?
Then—to anyone else who put their name in and wants to do a little stitching, there are 4 more of these larger pieces, stitched to a backing with batting, turned and pressed. Ready to play with: sew on a tote bag, make into a little wall hanging, sew on a jacket—whatever. Two are cropped, and they’re 7” x 5” tall. The other two are almost full size: almost 8” x 8” They are, in truth, pot holder size. But you wouldn’t dream of doing that with them, would you? I’ve got one for me, fixed on stretcher bars, and I’m going to do a bunch of hand stitching and beading (hope, hope) on it and then put it on Something—a bag, a jacket, the wall—don’t know yet. Depends on how it turns out.
So: if you put your name in and didn’t get a pin and would like one of these 4 larger pieces to work with, post a comment (so people can tell when they’ve been taken) and tell me which size—first come, first served. And then e-mail me your address.
Thank y’all all so much for playing! This is so much fun for me—if I had endless time (and thicker calluses on my fingers!), I’d make one of these for everyone who wants one.

Rice,
I'd love one of the 8x8 ones. I think that it would make a great addition to one of my totes.

How exciting! I rarely win things, so am entranced with the idea. I'm sure I will be entranced with the pin as well. It will be fun wearing it and advertising your new book.
Cheers!
Rice - IF I'm the correct Sheila, I just emailed you the snail addy to send to me for delivery after this weekend. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I gave you my brother's snail mail addy because I'm gonna be staying with him 'back home' in OH for the next couple weeks. What a treat it will be to get something special there!
