My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

We're Easily Entertained

Clarice and I just spent half an hour watching videos on YouTube. I never watch videos on YouTube--it's like watching TV, only for people with short attention spans. And I've never known a cat who got into video for more than a nano-second.

But Clarice? She was entranced. She sat in my lap and purred and watched every second. Granted, we started off with Falling Georgie, a perennial favorite.

Here's Clarice watching:
and here's her very favorite of all the ones we found. She especially likes the part where the squirrel makes an entrance from the left and then vanishes:

Cute vids . Just to let you know the new settings do not work on my computer either. I measured and its a 22" monitor. I have to scroll back and forth. Won't make me stop reading your blog as i love it but it is annoying.

LOVE the new photo at the top.

My last two cats got into the cat videos. (although Tiger Lily very quickly discovered it was a trick and gave me dirty looks and stalked off) Kip would watch forever like Clarice. These two cats want nothing to do with videos, but then they have real birds and squirrels outside daily.
