My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Clarice Washes Her Face

I kind of doubt that anyone else find cats washing their faces as amusing as we do, but here you go, anyway~~

OMG. Killing me softly with cuteness....!

Have you tried The Furminator? It's the only thing that seems to work on my long-haired boy.

Clarice is tres stunning!

Smokey likes the video, nothing like a clean cat.
What do you use for hairballs? We use almond oil, but she still randomly throws up hair!

Oh Clarice, you little angel face. I know you were looking to see if someone was holding out on you with the rest of that scone. Let me know if you find a grooming tool you like, Bob-cat needs to be groomed and has fur like yours.

We love watching my cat have a wash; there's this one crazy thing she does where she tries to lick her own neck, funniest thing ever!

Thank you, thank you, glkwid oin (that's from me, from The EGE (her wrangler), and from Clarice).

Where does one find The Furminator, I wonder? Off to google.

She is really clean, but it's such a chore for her.

She's only thrown up twice in her life as far as we know--her fur wasn't long when she was little, so this is new for her and completely freaks her out, as if she thinks she's going to get in trouble for it. She's never gotten in trouble for anything so far, but she was terrified when she arrived here, so who knows what her first weeks were like. Sigh. I'm thinking Lax-a-Whatever (it's been Lax-a-Tone, Lax-a-Gel--it's been a ton of names in the years I've had cats, but it's a meat-ish flavored gooey sticky stuff some cats love, and it's supposed to be an, um, lubricant (to eat! NOT the other end!).

Clarice seems to have a lot of Maine coon cat in her. We have Maine coon-mixed breeds and she resembles them very much.

What is the name of the music in the background? I really enjoyed that, too.

She's probably just a mutt like the rest of us.

The music--I don't remember, but I put the title and artist at the end of all the videos, I think.

I find watching my cat clean himself very relaxing and never fails to make me smile. My cat Jinx likes to clean out my yogurt containers when i'm finished so you know his face is covered which he then spends an hour cleaning his face. So cute. And Clarice is absolutely beautiful!

I also love to watch cats bathing themselves. Now if only my baby furboy didn't feel the need to wash MY face every morning at 6 am. LOL

How About a Little Music?
