(Why do PhotoBooth photos come out backwards? Hmmmmm?)
I wrote a while back--a long while back, I think--about how I like genmaicha tea, with its flavor of rice that's like a vegetarian hit of chicken broth. Without the ickiness of chicken or the weird concept of "broth," which creeps me out ("broth--the rinse water of dead animal parts" is where I go in my head with that).Anyway, I finally found this, which is WAY more affordable than the stuff I found previously and way, WAY more affordable than my first taste of this in Seattle, where I got a tiny, tiny, teeninsy little ziplock bag of it for $5. I mean, like two cups, maybe.
So here's the link to Yamamotoyama (and if you don't have fun saying that over and over, I don't know what to tell you) Genmai Cha Tea, 90 bags for $14. That's a great deal on this tea, from all I've been able to find out. AND: it's in bags, which is easier and less messy, and it tastes great--it's my favorite.
So there you go. No one paid me to say nice things about this tea. Heck, I can't even read most of the packaging, which I assume is in Japanese. It may say "Tea made from Nasty Weeds and Lawn Clippings with Super Secret Japanese Spices to Make Westerners Think It's Something Special."
Works for me.

Ooh, interesting. I love trying new and interesting tea.
As for Photobooth, you can go to "Edit" and then "Flip Photo" to make it look normal again, or "Edit" and "Autoflip New Photos" so that future photos don't end up backwards. It'll still look backwards when you're taking the picture, though. I'm not sure why it does that.
You are too funny. Have you tried Rooibus tea? It is the kind of tea they drink in Africa. I was reading a series of books about Africa and they were drinking this tea in the books so my sister got me bunches. It is supposed to have healing qualities too. And since it came from England, where my sister lives, I can read the container and it doesn't say comes from weeds or anything like that! It is quite good.
Thanks for the PhotoBooth tip--I have used it only maybe half a dozen times, which is silly because it's fun and offers lots of blogging opportunities.
I will vouche for Rooibos as well. One of the few herb teas that tastes good with milk.
I am looking for ideas to refashion a dumpy linen dress that is a nice blue. It's on my blog: http://bit.ly/hH0Om9
I have also put up my cut out dresslet if you want to see the fabric.
We buy gen mai cha loose, it comes in a can. My newly favorite tea is a green tea with jasmine made by Stassen. I wasn't a fan of green tea until I discovered this one. It smells so good too.
Darla
I just bought this on Amazon. It was on a blogger's amazon wish list. It's tasty and healthy.
