My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Oh, My.

We try and try to get a really good photo of Clarice, but she's either 1) sleeping in a goofy way or 2) tearing through the house like a crazy person. This is the best one so far that shows how she's changing as she grows up. Her fur gets longer by the day. She's 8 months. (She is, by the way, captured in this photo sleeping someplace she's not supposed to. What a surprise, huh? But what would you do if that face looked at you like that?)

What a lovely looking cat.

She knew that the yellow would bring out the color of her eyes and that cute little stripe on her nose. Like you said, who could resist that adorable little face?

Thank you! Doesn't she look adorably cute and cuddly? Ha. She's never still enough for cuddling. Right now she's in the bathtub trying to get someone to come play with the string (she has a TON of toys in there--all kinds of stuff. We go, "Did you put that in there?" and the other one of us goes, "No. I thought you did." She finds stuff and puts it in the bathtub, just in case someone wants to come play.

If that face looked at me like that I'd let her sleep anywhere she likes! She is beautiful.

looks like she's on someones batik something-or-other. she collects toys in the tub? that's cute. my giant fluff ball fills up my bathroom sink---with himself. i think i've taken more pictures of my crazy cat than my kid.in all my years of cats, he's the first one that sleeps on his back with his paws over his head. he's as long as a yardstick. you think she's a maine coon?

I would take a photo for sure! She's beautiful and she even matches what she is lying on.

She's just a mutt--the best kind (of anything, in my opinion: cat, dog, human). the first time her vet saw her she said, "she's going to be big, and she's going to have long fur." i had no idea fur could get this long, and now i'm wondering what "big" means in this context. yikes.
