My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

My Voodoo Baby!

This is another one of those posts I've been meaning to do and meaning to do but just haven't been able to squeeze in. And so now, today, I'm doing it and having a great time. Funny how that works, isn't it?

Jamie is one of my favorite baristas, just a total delight to be around. When we met her mom and her brother, we could see why:  they're just nice people, the kind who make you feel you've known them forever.
I LOVE this guy, and he's been sitting not just on my desk, but in my file box where I keep all the folders with all the assignments--you know, The Really Important Stuff.

He's got such good vibes that I figure he'll keep all that straightened out. Plus he was made just for me, so if he wasn't cool enough already, that would cinch it. I think, though, that maybe I should make a folder for Financial Stuff and put him in charge of that, since that's the one that needs help. He could be in charge of Making Sure Payment Arrives on Time. He'd be fabulous at it, I'm sure, fabulous just like Jamie~~

I love your Voodoo Baby! Gifts are so much nicer when they are made especially for you. I love making things especially for people. Means I can put part of myself and my love for that person into what I am making. And if they are extra special, I may even slip inside a little piece of Rose Quartz, or other appropriate crystal.

Hmmm, maybe it's my meds, but when I look at him I think of Sly & The Family Stone. What's his name? xxoo Patty

P.S. Bhu sez "Hai, Clarice!"

How About a Little Music?
