My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Show Us Your Stuff!

Woohoo--look what I finally did: I made us a Flickr group for The Voodoo Cafe. Yay, me! I wanted to make it easy for y'all to share stuff--I mean, it's easy for me to post photos here at The Voodoo Cafe, but there's no way for everyone else to do that, and if we're going to have this place to hang out and do stuff and talk about stuff, we should be able to *show* stuff, too. Like if you want to show us what you're working on or ask "what in the world is this thing my dog brought in this morning?" or show us what you're doing to your living room or deck or garden or WHATEVER--it should be easy. And now it is--you can go here, to the new group The Voodoo Cafe, and you can show us whatever.

[If you encounter any problems or funkiness, please let me know. I've done this before (I think), but who knows how many ways there are to screw it up, you know?]

Please be sure to tell us 1) who you are and 2) what you're showing us. I don't know about everyone else, but I get a big thrill out of those labels, where you scroll across part of a photo and a label pops up telling what it is. I LOVE those.

Yeah, I'm easily entertained. I know that.

There's nothing in The Voodoo Cafe yet because I just this minute opened it up and I'm in the middle of a bunch of stuff, so if you want to jump in there and be first, go right ahead! I'll try to get in there later and add some photos, but please don't wait on me. Go, have fun, show us stuff!

XO

Just joined! I began making/trading paper dolls a few years ago and so I posted a few of the ones I loved making and still love. They are fun. They are traded and are having a wonderful life living with various swap partners around this globe of ours. Love the idea for this group.

Oh cool! I've just joined. I'm in the process of finishing off some old knitting projects so shall post those when done, along with my journaling and quilting projects.
