My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Some Stuff from Today

I keep thinking I'll get a chance to sit down and visit, but no. Today's been one of those days of starting things and then having to stop and do something else. I did get the belt to a stopping point last night, so I put glue put on the knots on the back:

I did a blog post for CreateMixedMedia.com  for tomorrow, and then I did a podcast, which I'm going to go back to editing here in a second:

I did some testing for a product review:
And in passing, I decided to see if I can duplicate the effect of the rawhide fringe I saw a lot in Santa Fe, where it's all twisty. I had this skirt with a ton of regular, straight, ugly fringe, and I wet a strand and twisted it and taped it to the table to dry.

Let's see what happens, shall we? And now back to work~~XO

Love the thought of this twisty fringe... Leather banana curls spiraling into ecstasy. Let us know how it turned out.
