My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Prepare to Go "Awwwww." And Then "Wow."

Holly sent me this, and it's made my whole day. You know me and animals, especially me and cats. So you can imagine how happy this makes me. Sure, you could argue that it's the fish on the dolphins' (or is it just the same dolphin every time?) breath that's so compelling, but I would bet money that they're exchanging much more interesting information here. How often would you, as a cat, have access to this kind of info? It's like they're doing a mind meld here.
Cool, huh?

Thank you, as always, Holly! You find the coolest stuff~~XO
PS: This link still works, so go here. Sorry about that.

okay that is amazingly cool, thanks for sharing!

That is not about fish-breath. That is about friendship. Would that we humans could figure out just a bit of that.

Isn't that the coolest? To anyone who believes that our finned and four-footed friends don't experience emotion or affection, I say "HA!"

It is no longer available! :( bad luck to me.

Whoa. That sucks. Sorry about that--I had no idea there was a problem with this.

I can't see it either, but from your description I went to YouTube and put in "dolphin cat". What came up was a video of a tabby cat on a boat patting and loving on a dolphin in the water. Was this the same clip you had up?

Oh no! Well, here's the direct link. It's still working this morning. Maybe you can cut/paste this in. It's too good to miss.

Part of it was on our local news tonight--very sweet. I wonder what they (the cat and the dolphins) were thinking...
Thanks for posting and for giving us a corrected link

Okay, here is the official nag: I want to see that fabric piece you are working on. The one that isn't turning out to your satisfaction. I want to see photos and read what you don't like about it and then I want to see what you end up doing with it (second post.) That is two posts.

Come on. *impatiently tapping foot*.

Zom said...

Oh. And tags. What about tags? Not even for your podcasts?

Ricë said...

Oy. The tags. See, when I had a PC and Windows Live Writer, it always prompted me to add tags when I hit "publish." So I did. Now that I don't have that, I nevernevernever EVER think about it. After you, Zom, first began ever-so-gently mentioning this, I thought to go back and add tags to the last couple dozen posts, but after about 5 minutes I needed to take a very long nap. And since I don't nap, I just gave up.

None of the links work anymore. They all say "This video is private".
