My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

You Have to Watch This! You'll Thank Me.

Oh, my, oh, my. Melanie Testa tweeted this this morning, and because it's Melanie and I think she's fabulous, I took time to watch it. I SO do not do that, not while I'm supposed to be working. But for 18 minutes, I was completely, totally entranced. This may be the coolest thing I've ever seen. Grab a cuppa, settle back, and watch this.
(If for some reason you can't see the embedded player, go here.)

Is this not the coolest thing ever?

Thanks, Melanie! XO

Just when you think the world's going to hell in a handbasket, there's TED, showcasing people who think, who act, who care, who create. Wonderful video. Thank you. --Carol Leigh (P.S., the word verification to post this comment is "hipstr!")
