My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

She is kinda cute and scarey at the same time.

What happens to her now?

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. And thanks for posting these in large format so we can click on the pics and see the details up close and personal. What harmony!

She's cute. I like her. Just keep her in Texas. Oregon has more rain than it needs right now. :=/

Verification word was: radbal...is it me, or does that sound like some radical ball game...maybe played on roller skates?

Wonderful shape.

Great use of Kantha stitch. I really love this technique.

Thank y'all. She was fun, although I'd do a lot differently--the face didn't come out exactly like I wanted. Suella, a friend and I joke that we don't do running stitch; we do walking stitch, because I don't go in-and-out with each stitch. I go down with one stitch, pull it through, and then go up with another and pull it through. Much slower, but the embroidery thread doesn't get wonky.
