Now, in my intro, I give her website as cforignals.com. I was wrong: it's cforiginals.net. If I were a really good person, I would have gone back into Audacity and re-recorded the intro. But I'm not. I'm lazy. After I've already saved and exported as an MP3, there's no way I'm going in and re-doing it. I'm just putting the *correct* version everywhere and hoping that's enough to get people there, because it's definitely worth visiting. Here's how her bio begins, for instance:
Christi Friesen was born at a very young age, kidnapped and raised by lemmings. She escaped to California where she got married, had various wonderful kids, and amassed credit card bills. She is currently considering having a midlife crisis, unless there’s something good on television.
What's not to love, right?
Here's Christi at Bead&Button in Milwaukee last year--The EGE was allowed to take photos only of people we knew who gave us permission. We lucked out~~
Here's Christi with the issue of Belle Armoire with the piece we did together.
This one's about 55 minutes long and worth every moment. Pour yourself something fab, put your feet up (unless you're 1) driving or 2) on the treadmill, in which case: please don't!), and enjoy listening to Christi~~

btw, www.cforiginals.com will redirect you www.cforiginals.net. = )
Thanks--Christi told me that after I did all this, and I said, "Oh. Huh." and just left it.
What a terrific interview. I loved Christi's description of her creative process. Now I want her as my best friend. I'm off to sign up for her newsletter. Thanks!
Great podcast, lots of information provided and fun to listen to! So many ideas presented here would be great jump starts for various other art forms. I've also been reading your book, "Creative Time and Space", a few pages at a time, for one reason to make it last, but for another, as a treat to look forward to at the end of the day. Thank you!
Just had to listen to this again. In fact, I may save it to my iPod to listen to it over and over again. I'm really not at all interested in polymer clay, but what she says about gathering ideas and finding creative projects is priceless.
Hi Rice - THX so much for this wonderful interview with Christi! She is such a hoot and so much fun to be around. I had the pleasure of taking a workshop with her last year and learned so much from her in a very short amout of time! THX!!!

Rice - I posted your weblink of this interview on my blog!
THX!
Thanks, Sandy, lucky woman, you--getting to take an actual class with Christi. Is she as fun in a workshop as I'm thinking she must be?
Rice - OH YES she is so fun and she shares so much in person than you get out of a book or an online class. I felt that her coming to San Antonio might be a once in a lifetime opportunity and did NOT intend to miss out on the experience!
However...I will warn you that all of her crazy energy is EXHAUSTING!!!!
Gracias for all your hard work! I really enjoyed listening to Christi. She has a lot of energy.

PS...your voice is fantabulous!
I so enjoyed this podcast, I came away really encouraged and energized. So much packed into what seemed like a short conversation.
Great podcast. Christi was full of inspiring and creative ideas.
