My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Podcast with The Fabulous Teesha & Tracy Moore: Ambassadors of Creativity

Last time I talked to just Teesha, but we'd already discussed how much fun it would be to bring in her husband, Tracy. Did you know, by the way, that many people who don't know Teesha and Tracy but have just heard the names think that they're sisters? They're not--they're husband and wife, married for 29 years, parents to two grown daughters. What's amazing is this creative life they they've created together and nurture and are sharing with others through retreats, workshops, and trips like their upcoming Tapping into the Flow retreat this June in Portugal (if you're interested, hurry: they have one opening left as of this week).

We're going to have more conversations, and for the next podcast, we'd love it if you'd send in questions for me to ask Teesha and Tracy. I hear people at their retreats wishing they had time to sit and pick the brains of such creative people, so this is your chance to do just that. Send me questions you'd like to ask them--about workshops, creativity, retreats, whatever. (You can post them as comments, but even better: send them to me via my email address up there in the sidebar.)

For now, though, settle back and listen as they talk about their life together, their workshops, and why more men aren't involved in mixed media art.

Great to hear these two talk about all things art and mixed media. Thanks to all three of you!

Thanks for another great podcast! I think that I first heard about Teesha Moore in Somerset Studio and then later also heard about Tracy Moore and I also thought that they were sisters at first. I think that they have a great dynamic and wish that I could be in a position to take a class with them. I think that their work is fantastic!
