My Photo
Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Something to Give You Hope for the Earth

If you're like me and sometimes think our poor Earth is surely on its last legs, overpopulated and so heavily burdened it's a wonder she can still exist, watch this video sent to me by Lynn (no link). It's by Terje Sorgjerd, and it's marvelous. Lynn pointed out that it's in HD, so I made it fill the screen and settled back and just relaxed into it. Lovely, indeed.

Thanks, Lynn! XO

Stunning and awe-inspiring...thank you. I just can't believe that with that many stars and all that infinity that there isn't anything similar to earth out there...there has to be.
