Trish gave it to me because it had a rip in it--I found it on a hanger, hastily tossed and falling off. I think someone tried it on, ripped it, threw back on the hanger and fled. I demurred when she offered it--I don't Do Blouses. Plus it was stark white. But I love rayon and knew it would dye fabulously, so I brought it home and dyed it.
Then I got some hot pink rayon thread and a little patch of silk and mended it. I didn't want a Real Mending Job--I can do invisible mending, but what's the fun in that?
The outside, with the patch.

Then I had some hot pink beads, so I just kept going. I don't know how I'll wear it--blouses are just so not me. I thought of cutting it into a shrug, but that was too much effort for something (I had "someone"--I swear I have relationships with these clothes) I don't absolutely love. I may wear it over a tank in the spring/fall (summer weather to most of the rest of y'all). Who knows? I love the way it turned out, though.
I beaded the ruffles and the flowers on the fabric.
I think if you enlarge this you might be able to see the stitched flower-ish things
that I beaded a little.

I like it. It's really cute on you.
The patch kind of makes it, otherwise too blousie-dressy.
I can even see you tying it up around your midriff too, with a tank underneath. Very pretty stuff!
Hello! I just became a follower of your blog. Anyway, love your pretty, orange, blouse. I am looking at all of your neat things on your blog. Just want to let you know for some reason, your video of you talking, didn't come out very clear. I turned up the volume, but to no avail. Anyway, keep up the great work! Francine
