My name rhymes with "Lisa,"
I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm
and the mortgage is cheap,
and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course!
The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years.
I have the best job in the world
because I get to call up artists
and ask them nosy questions
and then write about them.
I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.
Hi, Ricë. Your old photo series is a hoot! Thanks for the laugh. I also really liked your Experiment 3 shirt--so cool. And I enjoy your podcast interviews, but the one with Sue Kreitzman was over the top! I don't have enough superlatives for that one. When I feel like I need a pep talk, I listen to that one. And of course you are the best interviewer around--intelligent questions and you get the interviewee to talk on interesting subjects. Bravo! best, nadia
Thank you for indulging me! I need to get busy and make more of these--they aren't virtual; they're actual cards. I've been sending these (made years ago) to Melly Testa (in envelopes, in the actual mail!)--I wanted to make her laugh as she went through treatment, and it did. I've got more but have to be in the right mood to do them justice. You know: silly to the point of making yourself snort over and over.

I'm enjoying the old photo's and your witty captions. I always get a big smile out of them.
