Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and no, my hair is not naturally orange. The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 34 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. In my spare time I write. Yeah, I know that's kind of pathetic, but what can I say?

Podcast with Journal Artist Ingrid Dijkers

My, oh, my, Ingrid does amazing work. I love her journals:

In the intro to the podcast, I tell the story about finally meeting Ingrid in person and finding out she wasn't at all like I thought she was going to be. So cool, and so funny when I look back at what I expected.

You'll want to see images as you're listening, so go to her website and her blog. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for listening and commenting--it makes it worth all my wheedling and pleading to get Ingrid to do the podcast. I wish you could sit down and visit with her--she's just fabulous to talk to.

Love her journals! Have had her on my blogroll for a long time. For me the picture of herself she has on her blog make her seem very unapproachable but after hearing her on your podcast it does leave me with a different impression. Thanks Rice!
