Midland, Texas, United States
My name rhymes with "Lisa," I live in Midland, Texas, because it's warm and the mortgage is cheap, and of course this is my natural hair color. Of course! The EGE--The Ever-Gorgeous Earl--is my husband of 35 years. I have the best job in the world because I get to call up artists and ask them nosy questions and then write about them. I also stitch, podcast, blog, and then, in my spare time, do it all some more.

Trapped by The Princess

One of the reasons I love The Ever-Gorgeous Earl. He sat there for an hour, waiting for her to decide she'd finally had enough lap time. (Check out his groovy cowboy pajama pants made from *vintage* fabric we found at a garage sale.)

 Looking out at the snow.

Marking his hands so the other cats will know he belongs to her.

Spoiled? Just a little.

Very sweet pictures. He looks like a gentle soul.

He's a good man! My stepfather would do the same thing. He and my mother had a cat that was blind from birth and he would sit and hold her all afternoon if she so desired. Kind and gentle souls. The world needs more of them.

Yes, he is. Your stepfather, too. The EGE can be heard to exclaim, though, "No! You're not going to trap me today! I have Things to Do." Sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't.
