Like I said, totally boring. Tie-dyed tee, thrifted jeans.
Me dancing like a goober on the sidewalk.
OK, here's something I *did* pay full price for. Yikes. Judy Coates Perez had one of these a couple years ago at the quilt show in Houston, and I fell in love. But I did NOT want to pay that much for another bag (I have, um, let's just say I have a couple, OK?). I figured that, if I waited, I could get it on sale eventually or find it at BJ's. No luck--these bags just keep on selling, and even the ones on eBay are not cheap. So I finally just heaved the big sigh and bought one. I think waiting two years was pretty good, though, right? As if that's justification.
This was the best we could get:
But the light was good, so he just took photos of me:
This is an altered black knit Bryn Walker vest over a pair of fuchsia Hue corduroy leggings. On top I have a yoolie and a couple of scarves from the street in Manhattan. My favorite black Born boots (I liked the brown ones so much I hunted down a pair of these, new, on eBay).
OK. Back to work~~thanks for coming by for coffee with me! XO

The shirt and blue jeans are lovely but the second outfit... the second outfit is powerful. You look like a fantastically interesting rockstar!
I agree. The loose fitting outfits are generally more interesting and OMG I have that same bag and love it!
Thanks, Kathryn--I hadn't thought of that, but that's probably what I'd think if I saw someone dressed like this: that they were really interesting and maybe Somebody Famous. The famous part wouldn't be that cool, though--lots of famous people aren't very much fun to talk to, I'm guessing. Anyway--thanks!
Jeanie, it's good I didn't know you had this bag or you might not have still had it once I left your house~~
You look great in both outfits! But I LOVE the second one! You rock!!
maybe those 'plain' little quails thought you were a flamingo and felt kinda dowdy in comparison? LOVE the colors!
Gotta LOVE the bag. . .I bought one several years ago (in a maroon/purple) at Macy's - so you know it wasn't on sale. They've since quit carrying that line around here. The good news is that the bag is better now (with a little distressing and wear) than when I got it and I use it - A LOT!!! And I love your style, understanding why EGE has so much fun taking your picture!!!
Love the fitted jeans and top!!!
Loved the coffee break - wish you lived near me! Great photos!
