Explorer of The Interior

I finished him this afternoon:
It's a Jumpron I did last year—I already showed it, and they're all alike except for color.

You can see, perhaps, where I tried to show the shape of the face in the direction of the stitching. I haven't decided whether or not it was successful; I'm still thinking about it.
I'm happy with the cheek and the jawline, but I'd do the nose differently and change the upper lip (probably just two rows, instead of three). For a while I was convinced that it looked like fur on his face, but I'm over that (so if it looks like fur to you, please: shhhhhhhhh).
What's next? Well, any one of the half dozen projects I've already started. One of these days I'll get caught up, meaning that I'll finish everything except the one newest project. Hahahahahahahahaha. I'm afraid that will never happen because I get more ideas than I can finish, and some I can't resist. But I'm not complaining. Nope, not a bit.

Thanks for coming by~~XO

I like him!!! and I'm wondering where he's been exploring?

He's a mental explorer! He lives in my brain. His name is Joe.

Nope, doesn't look like fur and if you think of the planes on a face I think the nose is perfect. You make it way it goes or grows some art teacher once told me. "Joe" is him.

see you there! said...

Joe looks great. Fun to see the close up of the many stitches. I think the words set it off perfectly.

Thanks! I wore him the other day, and a young woman in line at Target said she liked his words—she went to art school. The coolest people always notice your funky clothes. Regular people never even see them. And that's perfectly OK.
